And here we are friends, at the end of our time together. This will be the final post on this blog. It has been a blast communicating to you and learning about the usefulness that social media can provide. I have learned an awful lot about social media throughout this course. Perhaps the most important aspect I've learned is just how integral social media is to growing one's brand. Social media provides so many opportunities to users than has ever existed in the history of the world. The only problem is, that these opportunities are now available to everyone. This is only a problem in the fact that competition is fierce. It's an amazing opportunity that is available for everyone. Hey Everyone! Today, I'm here to talk about and discuss my approach for creating a professional and effective profile on various sites that fit within my brand strategy. Facebook is a great tool to use, especially if you've already got some friends. With Facebook, I'm able to attach my personal brand page, of Sports Photographer, to my own personal page. So, anyone who is friends with me, would be able to see that I've started a Sports Photography business. This can help spread my name and get my business out into the public, and hopefully spread to other people. Another organization platform I would use, is LinkedIn. LinkedIn enables me to have a more professional approach to getting my brand out there and allows me to connect to other sports photographers.

Sports photography is more a a niche genre of photography. When the average person thinks of photography, they think of beautiful sunsets, fashionable weddings, or lush nature photographs. Very rarely do people even think of sports photography, let alone blog or vlog about it. Having said that, the vlog that I frequently use as a guide and for inspiration is the SLR Lounge vlog on YouTube. Even though The SLR Lounge has very little to do with Sports photography, it has loads of tutorials for required skills. The tutorials are one of the most essential parts of the vlog. There are tutorials for almost every situation and how to use certain complementary software as well. I use this vlog to help grow my brand by growing my knowledge and skills. Introduction.

Hey everyone! My name is Corey Dunn, I live in Lafayette, Indiana. My wife works for a major corporation and we've been moved around a lot the last 3 years. We've moved from Missouri, to Illinois, to Mississippi, and now to Indiana. It's been pretty cool to see different parts of the country. My wife is pregnant with twins and she's expecting to pop this July. I'm extremely excited, but holy moly, I've never had more things to be afraid of in my life! My interests include sports, video games, movies, and travel. I love to travel with my wife. We went to Tokyo, Japan 2 years ago for our honeymoon and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and I cannot wait to get back. This blog thing is pretty weird for me. I don't really like putting myself out there and having other people be able to see and read what I'm thinking or interested in. So this will definitely be a bit of a change.
